    Question 2015 294 XL Speedometer Faulty

    The factory installed, Stratos logoed, dual speedometer/fuel gauge is not reading. Fuel gauge is OK. The speedometer needle is "floating" upwards and never reaches actual GPS speed reading. And when on idle or off, it stays at 10 mph or so. My mechanic "cleared the hose" but this issue continues. He says it could be a small pressure sensor with the water line on one side and two wires out the other side. Is anyone with a Stratos familiar with this problem and the pressure sensor he speaks of? Although he is a certified Evinrude mechanic, he is not too familiar with a Non-speedo pilot intake that newer bass boat have.

    Does anyone know the brand of Stratos gauges? Maybe Faria? This is incase I need to replace the aforementioned gauge I need to find one that is dual speedometer and fuel. Thank you

    can you put mph on fish finder screen? much more accurate

    I do have the Speed indicated via GPS on my Hummingbird. It’s about having a functioning gauge on my boat. I hope you understand.

    i do something not working correctly drives me crazy also!! the rangers have a sensor in the dash and this is where the speed comes from? maybe that is what he is talking about?
