How would you guys approach this?

I am in my 3rd year of bass fishing and i faced these conditions for the first time this week. I was fishing the end of a cold front and the water was up from recent rains. When I say the water was high I mean that it was over all the boat ramps and there was only one accessible. The lake was stained to muddy. The water temperature was anywhere from 47-50 degrees. I was just wanting to get your guys input on what you all would throw and do in this situation. To be honest, it had me stumped. lol

I would have thrown a chartreuse squarebill, a colorado/indiana or colorado/big willow spinnerbait, and flip a black/blue jig to visible targets. Not saying I would have caught them, but that's what I would have done.

Those conditions are tough for anyone especially this last week we have had a super moon that has caused higher presser on the planet than normal. If I had to fish under those conditions I would start by checking the water by the dam that is usually the clearest water in the lake.If the water is a little clearer there I would throw a Jerkbait that has some chartreuse in it.If that didn't work I would try the baits suggested in the post above.

I faced similar conditions in a club tourney last week. We only caught two fish going for about 3 lbs. which was good enough for 3rd. My dad caught his on a white/chartreuse stan sloan zorro spinnerbait with one giant colorado blade and rattles. I caught mine on a 1/4 oz. D and L jig in a brown and chartreuse color with yum F2 money craw trailer.

Personally, I would fish 3' or less on sunny banks (preferably with the wind blowing onto them) with either a spinnerbait with Colorado blades or a jig (as lite as you can get away with) in either black or black blue.

I would of flipped a black/blue or black/purple jig into any flooded bushes or trees that I could find. Would also throw a big spinnerbait or chatterbait around flooded banks and the flooded trees.
