Wondering which knots ppl use on diff types of line. Specifically are there knots that work good for one type of line (ie mono) but would maybe cut into itself on others (braid, fluoro).

The Fishin Fool or double San Diego jam will work on any line type. Fluoro is definitely the pickiest about knots and just doesn't hold it's strength as well as nylon mono or braid.
I use palomar for mono and fish-n-fool for flouro. No problems with either!

Palomar for braid
Advanced cinch knot for fluoro and
either one for mono
Braid to fluoro leader I use eithr a uni to uni or an alberto's knot
