I know that most of you have caught a "double" (2 fish on the same bait at the same time" have any of your ever heard of somebody catching a triple? i was throwing jerkbait last week i got to thinking. i could catch one on the front hook, middle hook and the back hook, anybody ever heard of this?
I wish our water was soft enough so I could try to catch 3 at a time............

I've caught a triple of sand bass with a 3 jig setup, but never caught more than 2 at a time while black bass fishing. I'm sure it's possible!
They'd have to be awfully small to fit 3 on one bait.

My dad had three white bass on and one got off, so it was only a double.

I pulled three kentucks on a jerkbait and got them almost to the boat and one came off while I was trying to land them.

Fishing smallies last year, a nice 4 lber got a double on us!!! We both set the hook at the same time (fishing near a bed) and up came a smallie with my crawfish and my buddie's drop shot...
I once caught 3 4lbers on a Spook. They were schooling hard and it felt like I was reeling in a bag of cement. One did come off while I was trying to get them in the boat. Also, a long time ago, someone won a CBA event here in Chattanooga by catching 3 5lb bass on a DD22.
Never caught a triple, but I caught this double, and had two more following them all the way to the boat when i landed them, the other two took off.

yeah i've caught 4 at 1 time on a buzzbait
I cant say ive caught 3 bass on one bait but i have shot 3 shad in one shot bowfishing one night. It was all luck bc i was actually shooting at a gar and after i shot my arrow took off and the gar was still there. When I real it in there was 3 shad on the arrow. We took a pic on my phone but i lost it when the phone died last year.
No skill just luck.
So i guess if thats possible it should be possible to hook three bass on one bait.
