Question Transom Cracks on 2019 Tracker 195

Well tonight I came across a sight no boat owner wants to see. Cracks on the welds of the transom. I will attach pictures tomorrow when I go back out to the boat. Going to call bps tomorrow and see if I can get it warrantied. Curious if anyone else has had this issue with the 195 and what Tracker ended up covering, and is the only option to have it fixed, or is there a way i could get a check. Also wondering how reliable a rewelded crack is like that, or if it’s something that will always be a problem.

Bonus Question: Do you think part of the reason the transom cracked was because of the motor toter? I’ve always hated the old style ones that go from the trailer to the motor and have always thought it puts extra pressure on the transom.

Sorry to hear about your boat. Bass Trackers have a reputation of cracked hull/welds so much they are known as Bass Crackers. Do a search on the internet and maybe you will find some of your info and hopefully get your boat repaired ASAP.

I remember some of the earlier 195 boats had issues with cracks in the transom area. As best I remember Tracker repaired the cracks and added some reinforcements to the transoms.

Sorry to hear about this. Can happen for any manufacturer especially the one that makes the most aluminum fishing boats.

May want to post this on the Tracker forum also. Some of those guys may be able to help.
