Splitting 95 181

The process of rebuilding my 181 has begun. I’ll have the top cap free of the hull in the next few days. Looking for any ideas on the best place to lift the top cap. I’m thinking up front I’ll lift from the recess trolling pedal hole in the deck. In the back I know the cleats are a no go. Thinking maybe I’ll lift from the brace in between the livewell doors?

Another question I’m going to need some help with is how much support the hull will need before removing the stringers and floor. If i have to remove the stingers and floor completely i know I’ll need some support. If I’m lucky and still have good dry wood from the consoles forward will i still need support the hull more than the bunks on the trailer?

This is going to be a big project so I’m sure I’ll be back with more questions and I’ll definitely take a bunch of pictures along the way.

Run wire from side to side to keep them from splaying out.
