Help me mount my lvs34 transducer

Working on getting my livescope all mounted on my boat.
Im planning on starting out with the transducer on my Ultrex along with my m360. Also gonna start out with the Garmin mount.
Since I’m running m360 on my Ultrex barrel or tm shaft mount for the LS?
Will the Garmin perspective mount allow for perspective view on the ultrex with m360 ?
If so can the ultrex be stowed with the transducer in perspective view ?
Any and all help is appreciated!

I would try the stock Garmin shaft mount first and see how it works. See how low you can go and get clearance from the head of the trolling motor.

If you can't get it to work, I would talk to Fish Obsessed and see if they can recommend a mount with a spacer that can get you clearance.

I'm in the same boat as you (but waiting for my boat to arrive), except I'll have a Lowrance Ghost instead of an Ultrex. I want to avoid mounting the transducer on the head of the trolling motor if possible. It's much more likely to get damaged that way (in my opinion).

You can run M360 and shaft mount LVS34 together. Perspective mode as long as it's under the 360 for clearance. I had an issue of not being able to stow the trolling motor in perspective mode. Good luck.

Does it matter which side of the transducer is next to the bracket when in perspective mode ?
Ive heard it does not , and this could solve some clearance/stowing issues .

That I don't know? I have always ran my LS ducer on the starboard side.

Yes , but when in perspective mode it’s not on either side it’s pointing straight head . Correct ?

Correct but the entire mount is either on port or starboard side. So even though it's straight out it's still technically on the port or starboard side?

Not when mine is in perspective view.
    Everything is facing straight ahead.

My bad guys never installed the LVS34 in perspective mode. Only did on LVS32. That is straight down the middle. Nice!

Sorry , but I’m still not understanding .
If we are only talking about perspective mode I can’t see anything in your picture or any other picture that is on the port or starboard side.
unless it’s where the cord goes into the transducer , but then yours would be backwards.

Here it is in forward mode. It's on starboard side cause when I stow the troller the prop is facing inward. In the installation manual it shows the orientation of ducer according to how the troller is stowed on boat.

I agree . You are on the starboard side when in down or forward mode.
It still looks to me that the perspective view position has nothing to do with port or starboard side.
Would you agree with this statement ?

My observation is that the transducer appears to be pointed to the right of the center line if the motor. Is that correct? I would think that it should be on the same plane for the sake of alignment and casting accuracy. Am I mistaken on this? That’s presumptive of a trolling motor head (Ultrex) that is “locked in” with the lower unit. I have a buddy with a ghost and his direction arrow on his stationary head unit NEVER aligns with his lower unit and thus his Lowrance LS ducer. Makes it very difficult to use (imo) and had a hard time finding the bait on the screen. When on his tm I actually found myself looking down in the water to get the actual direction the transducer was pointing.

It must be the angle on how I took the pic....looking at it right now and it looks straight as it can be....also what could throw the look off is the 8* cant in the bracket....

Yes I'd agree with that. What ever side you install it on there is only that one way to rotate it to perspective mode.
