Lake Anna is Awesome

You can fish all day on that lake and don't even have to wash/wipe the boat down.....

And you don't have to worry about washing tha pesky fish smell off your hands.....

And for all of you wondering.....There are no fish in Anna........

I know how you feel. Fished Lake Anna 3 weekends in a row. Last Saturday was the best day yet. Had our local club tournament(team), 28 boats.....only 7 brought in 5 fish limits. Took just under 12lbs to win. Our little limit didn't even touch 6lbs. Shakey head finesse worms skipped under the docks started producing good for us after lunch, just ran out of time. Fished the small private lake behind my house today for 2hrs and caught 18 bass(had to make up for yesterday)! Wish Lake Anna was easier, but that's why we have the Potomac River....bass in the grass!

Anna's a tough nut to crack!! I don't like it either, I do catch fish there, just don't like it! It took 18 and change to win the ABA Weekend Series their this past Saturday.

Funny thing is, I had a buddy call me this weekend wanting to go hit Anna, he said that the marinas website says fish are just jumping in the boat due to the winter baitfish dieoff. I told him the truth, makes you wonder how much propaganda is posted on those sites.

Sure wish I could have met up with you guys down at Buggs this past weekend.....I know there are fish in Anna, I just can't figure them out. Guess I'll have to keep trying....
