94 stratos 201 proxl 94 200 johnsn venom . Last time out had squeeze fuel bulb
[after stoppingto fish 1hr or2] each start up.Changed bulb, put on muffs today,
bulb was very,very,very slow to fill back.removed tank side line instant inflate.
put line back on started engine fuel bulb slowly collapses. blew line back to tank no help.WHAT DO I DO NOW?????? Larry Plummer

Rplaced new bulb with old one. Fixed fill and collapsing problem. so why do i have to squeeze the bulb after fishing awhile?????

95 Stratos drove my nephew crazy, till we changed out the anti syphon valves on top of the tanks to regular 90 deg ells!!

I'm with Mike, sounds like you need to replace the anti siphon valve, use a BRP 3/8 Valve, you can pick one up at your local dealer.

If you continue to run the motor with a fuel restriction you will need more than the valve, you will need a rebuild.....

I would suggest you replace the valve and check and or replace the fuel sensor on the motor, you should have a solid horn every time the fuel bulb is pulled flat.

One thing you can try is to tie wrap the hose to a more perpindicular position as it enters the motor instead of letting it lay in the splash well. this will let the check valve in the bulb to keep fuel in it and help the fuel flow. CM

After i put the old bulb back on it did'nt pull flat anymore.the new bulb from local marine shop was very flimsey, i'll take it back. the bulb is vertical.

You will need a way to pull a vacuum on the switch ...Hand pump... and a ohm meter.

the switch should go to ground at about 5 to 7 in of vacuum.
