    The BAR is Closed

Bar is Closed for now. The T Bend Lounge on the water was Opened by me and GB @ 0930 today. We are now Closed for a bologna sammich and fritos. We'll re- Open sometime this afternoon.

The lake is a disasterously dangerous situation fer sure. GB spun a prop after thumpin a tree yesterday getting on plane. We ran the river only and a short stretch of boat road while holding our breath. Weird to be next to the Main boat road and not be in it to intentionally run the river.

Splashed at the big bridge (Pendleton) and you gotta have the motor all the way up and churnin mud for about 75 yrds in a neck about as wide as the boat.

It was great to be on the lake again with my buddy GB and we came in with a good box of fish.

I heard the Alpine ramp was in good shape, you might go in there and try it.

don't have any "spots" in Polly Gauch. Could you imagine idling from Alpine to the river

The few available ramps are just part of the problem. Once you get in the water you can't run anywhere.

I hear that "site #7", first ramp north of the dam is good. Never been there, never fished down there, but I believe that's a journey from here, I'd have to pack a picnic lunch and leave at midnight to get there

I did have a "first" for me today, landed TWO fish at the same on a crankbait, one keeper and the other a hair under. Thought I had 5 lbr at first, but the two might have made 3 lbs. It was pretty neat.

troy do you know where white oak is?if so you can still launch there and running the lanes in that area is not bad.

yep, right around the corner from me. I'm in Lowes Creek. From what I hear unloading ain't too bad but loading can be a bitch and no where to get out the boat without steppin in mud when you go to fetch yer pickup. Two old fellers I know splashed there this mornin and backed the dang trailer in too far and had to be pulled out.

the sumbitches need to be cuttin these damn boat roads, they got the money so I hear.

Re: The BAR is Closed (Corkpuller)

Maybe I'm missing something, but the boat runs were cut before the lake came up....Is there such an animal that runs around at night eating trees for the purpose of a clear boat passage????

I'll be up there tomorrow, and will be fishing south this weekend. You and GB need to load up and head our way, I fished a few weeks ago and ran all over the south end no problem.
