    Re: Cowboy Beans (bigfishingstud)

Tammy Hunter made some bad azz beans at our Rally. They could be considered "Cowboy Beans" She is married to the feller that owns Elm Creek Village. I bet you could talk her out of the recipe. The were awesome. They even looked awesome. I highly recommend.

Tammy could definitely teach some of our area restaurants how to cook a pot of beans. Those were to kill for.

    Re: Cowboy Beans (bgibson53)

    Ok , here ya go

    ELM CREEK BEANS
boil beans, chopped ham and onion until the beans are soft

Add: Rotel, canned tomatos, chopped jalapenos, chopped cilantro, brown sugar, chili powder. Add these ingrediants until it tastes like you want it to.
This is for a small bag of beans, large bag double the ingrediants.

She said on a small bag 1 can of Rotel and tomatos about 4 jalapenos , half a clump of cilantro chopped.
1/2 bag of brown sugar and start with a 1/2 tb spoon of chili powder.
