    Good to be home

Reggie and I had a fun trip. Caught lots of small fish but just couldn't get the big ones to bite. We lost several fish in the trees, who knows, maybe one of them was a hog. Our best was a 5lber that Reggie caught. Wind killed us yesterday but it was sure nice this morning. Lots of folks on the lake today, had to take a number to fish. Man Ivie is LOW, haven't been on it since the rally and it's a different lake. Thanks Jerry for all you do .....And to close it out, Reggies new boat is SWEET....

It was fun but a couple of days of hard fishing & fighting the wind. Yesterday was horrible This morning was slick and after putting in about an hour on the grass flatswhere the big 'uns were caught the previous 2 days, we went back to where we had been on fish and put 2 non-Ivie limits in the boat by noon. Shortly after we got to our 2nd spot, one of the guides that was on the flats earlier came running by, so apparently, they weren't on this morning.

We called it quits about 1:00 and I was home by 2:45. The 210 is a great platform and HUGE!! It drives and handles differently than the 201, but with a little more seat time, I think I'll have it down. Got a squawk list of a few things needing attention, but all in all it is the Mercedes of bass boats IMHO. We had a pretty smooth ride in yesterday in some 2' or better rollers. And yes Craig, it went in the sticks ...

The new boat ran smoother than your old one, heck, I thought the old boat rode like a Cadillac.
