Actually, the cost of repairs were pretty reasonable - barely above the estimate he gave us when we took her in ..

Yup, Wesley Norman is a darn nice guy & honest to boot. Saved the bad parts for inspection & all. We had the shift pin assy and cam replaced, clutch dawg & reverse machined with 4* bevel and a new water pump was installed while he was in there.

Seeing as he is under the weather with man problems, he kept at it & kicked it out for us. Even bumped us ahead of a couple other boats... We've found our new mechanic

Well, good news is the LU is working, shifts smooth
Bad news is I forgot to warn the mechanic not to trim the motor too high as the 2nd steering tube hits the transom... he bent it
I just had to cut it off the cable

Hehehehe, as luck would have it I found a steering tube from another kit Back on the water tomorrow to me
