Post Vessel View LINK Communication Problems (with Lowrance units)

Have you had difficulty getting your Vessel View LINK to communicate (or it suddenly stopped communicating)?

For some reason, we're finding that a number of units have a setting in the NMEA-2000 Network "Devices" settings, "Configure", with a Query "Is Generator?".

The setting (or answer) should be NO. If for reason this is set to "Auto" or "Yes", you will not be able to communicate with the Can-P (Engine Instrumentation) Network.

Many thanks to Andrew for recording the steps so that someone else can benefit!

Just did the latest update to the units and went to check. Sure enough, it was set to auto.
