What Socket size for the prop nut on a 200hp E-Tec ?????
Going to help a buddy change his prop,, want to make sure I have the right tools with me.

What Socket size for the prop nut on a 200hp E-Tec ?????
Going to help a buddy change his prop,, want to make sure I have the right tools with me.

I just grab the one that fits, 1 1/16" 1 1/8" . Have a block of wood to lock the prop to the cav plate.
Thanks,, I thought it would be in that size range, just didn't want to go to do it and find out it was some off the wall size.

If you want to save some weight, just carry the 1 1/16" socket. It will also fit your buddy's V-4 engine.
V6 prop nut torque is 70-80 ft. lbs.

A red headed technician made the same post a few years ago about flywheel nuts as was simarly chastised for his comments. Got to dance with who brung ya.
