    seahorse or championman

    I am trying to replace the ignition switch on 1974 evinrude model # 50473.... Found a seirra switch online but the part # doesn't match up with any omc #.... My question is what year models will interchange with my 1974????? It looks like evinrude changed #'s every year...many thanks.....

    Pretty much the standard part number on the switch that I know of is BRP # 508180.
