1996 evinrude intruder 150

I am 1996 javelin SE with 1996 evinrude intruder on it. The lower unit has been rebuit and has a one year warenty on it. The marinea that it is at sait that the compression is good as well the model number on the motor is E150GLEDB I think.
The serial number is G04092260. It also has a raker SS prop with a pitch of 22. Can anyone give me any infor good or bad . The VRO has been turned off and the oil is mixed with the oil in the tank. This is a carberator motor to

I have a 96 Johnson Faststrike 150, same motor as the Intruder, Great motors. Mine is on a 96 Ranger 361 17' 10" and I turn a 23 Renegade to 5800 rpm's. I think that 22 is a bit small unless the Javelin is heavy. You should be able to turn a 24 Raker.

My nephew ran a 23 Gade 4 blade on a 201 Stratos with F/S 150 to 5800, That blade sounds small....again what hull?

which SE do you have as there is several made for that year,369,379,389,400,409.

The boat is a 389 javelin SE anything else i need to have checked besides the compression

So what do you want to know? How should it run? Specs? RPMs? All in all a great motor, the 389 SE runs best with a 23 gade/ 24 raker 3.75" below the pad with 0 defects in the prop. A low 60's boat at best.

thats a pretty heavy boat for the length[1590lbs] so its doing pretty good now.

I have a 97 389 TE with a 175 Intruder . Running 65 on gps loaded . 3.5 in below the pad with a 24 raker at 5800. It`s a solid smooth hull but a little heavy for a 150 .
