    A link 1) means you plan to fish in the tournament that you register for, 2) as a boater you are guaranteed to fish out of your boat and as co-angler you are guaranteed to be in the tournament, linked boaters and linked non boaters are paired up first (but not with their link), then non linked boaters and non linked co- anglers, then boaters with other boaters. If a co-angler is not linked and they run out of boaters the co-angler does not fish. I have not fished this before so I don't know how often it happens.

    In the SC div past few years it has not happened much...maybe once or twice where a signed up non-linked non- boater did not fish. Cost this year for non boaters is 100 for the 1 day and 150 for the 2 day which is on Clarks Hill this year.
