    USA Proud of her

    It’s not everyday that your daughter comes up to you and tells you that she wants to leave college and join the Army (active duty).... A mix of emotions overcame me as a father, but I’m proud of her. She wanted to be a Combat Engineer like I was in the Marines, but thankfully I was able to talk her into the IT field which makes mom and dad feel better. She leaves for basic in April.

    There has to be a huge range of emotion but it seems to me that you arrived at the point of loving her and supporting her and that is great!!! God bless her and keep her safe.
