Looks like a good night fishing or muddy water bait.

The blue really shows up in the pic I’ve the black. Love throwing the black and blue at night and the pumpkin/green pumpkin in the day.

Dane I’m using a figure 8 link with a spinnerbait hook. I also a flat eye hook with a split ring on a football head and they both chatter real good. Come by sometime and let’s see what we can come up with.

Way to be a MacGyver on that. They look great. I have been using the Troaker Swim Jig with a split ring lately.

This is an old custom mold that came from a company that no longer uses it. But Do-It use to make a Sparkie mold in large sizes that works great, I use it a lot. Not sure if they still make it though.

    Always.

I bend the top of the blade (about the top 1/5th) back toward the hook. I bend the blade by using a small hammer and medium "shaping" strikes by laying the top of the blade on the edge of an old trailer hitch ball that I secure in a table vice. This way, I get a bend that is slightly tapered and rounded, rather than a the type of bend you would get by just putting the tip of the blade in a vice and bending it. Take a look at the blade on a Z-Man chatterbait and you'll see what I mean about a rounded, tapered bend.

I don't doubt that. Just wanted to know which way those that choose to bend the blade, bend in or out. (not over)...BF
