    Quickdraw map backup/transfer process

I'd like to confirm the steps to properly save/backup up my quickdraw map and waypoints from my sd card to my pc.
Do I just insert sd card into pc and copy the entire sd card drive to a folder on my desktop? How do I transfer that QD map/file from my desktop to a 2nd card for use in another echomap unit?
Just want to make sure I do it right so I don't accidentally loose the QD map I've spent the last several months building!
    Thanks for any help

Easiest thing to do is simply copy the entire Garmin master folder from the SD card to your PC. This way, all the subfolders and data are included, and the Garmin file structure required by the Garmin MFDs is retained. Then, you can simply copy that Garmin master folder from your PC to other SD cards for use on additional units.

Don't worry too much about loosing it. There's a hump on a little local watershed lake I wanted to map, so I could pull up to fish it without getting on top. I've seen this hump high and dry and know what it looks like and how it lays.
I've tried for hours and many different directions and patterns....What comes out on the screen looks nothing like this hump. And it looks different every time.

    Not so impressed.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
