    oil resevoir question

How sensitive is the 4 beeps on a 2011 mercury optimax reservoir? Maybe a better way to put it is how low does the resevoir tank need to be to start getting the 4 beeps? thanks

Presuming that we are talking about some V-6 Optimax Model, the Engine-Mounted Tank should be 100% full, with ZERO air space present. Trigger point varies from one tank/sensor to another, but it doesn't take much.
