Humminbird SI Screen Captures from Trolling Motor Mounted SI

We get asked alot for images from different water depths and structure types. To help other see the benefits and user results of the different depth ranges and structure type lets start threads on different conditions to show how the Humminbird Performs. We will start a Master Thread and then we can link these different Depths and Structure Type Images to those threads to help others.

This thread will will be for Side Imaging Mounted on the Trolling Motor.

If you have settings information or can help describe the image please share that too.

Since SI on the trolling has been asked about a few times, I'll add some more examples. I fish some electric-only waters and only have my bow unit with me.

Why do some of the images show up on the right and left side. I know it's not two trees just alike side by side. So how do you know where the tree is at in this case as with the picture above. Thanks

    Good question.
The two SI pulses overlap under the transducer. When the subject is identical you are centered above it.

I use a Chart speed that matches the GPS speed. I change as often as the speed changes.

The triangle is some sort of structure put in the lake during construction. Some say they are fish structures, but they are too deep for that for common sense. It is about 10' on each side and 8'-10' tall with no discernible connection of the top to the bottom. There seems to be three floatation blocks holding up the top. About a dozen that I have found so far.

Some other views of what they look like:

AND when scanned with 360 at the right angle with the water column turned off, it looks like this:

Wayne .... That's downright strange .... Especially the way it shows with 360 .... Maybe it's a giant blow up doll...... You need to drop a camera on that.

I have tried a camera. A friend has one like an AquaVu that has a remote operated rotating camera. I borrowed it once to do that and it was in the summer when the object was in the thermocline. The whole area looked orange colored with and without the built-in lighting system at mid day with 10' visibility. Never did see it and I was sitting directly above it.
