Lake Anna put it on us on Saturday. We started at Valentine cove and worked our way north. I have to preface this report with the fact that we caught zero fish Saturday! But, what I could tell from the areas we fished and where the bait were located.....It is still wintertime at Lake Anna! We tried fishing from 0-15 feet with a variety of lures without success. I would suspect that we were not fishing deep enough for them Saturday. Most of the local boats we saw were fishing the deeper ends of main lake points throught the lake. Temperature was around 50-51 near dam, 44-45 midlake, 41-43 up the rivers, 45-47 all the way up the Pamunky. I tried to force the jerk bait bite too much I guess. Maybe should have used a c-rig or dropshot instead. I know this isn't a very informative report, but hey, that's how Lake Anna is for me sometimes!
