    Chickamunga Frog Bite

Heading to Chickamunga the first week of June. Can we expect to catch any bass on frog ? WE get to make one or two trips a year and just love to fish the lake.

You may catch a few in June. But, it will not be a true frog bite until later in the year around September to November. Grass is not topped out in June. You will be able to fish a frog around some shoreline grass and docks, but it will be more of an off shore bite in June. Lots of fish being caught off shore now. The summer migration to deep water is going on.

Check out Talkin Tackle if you have Facebook. They post updates on their guide trips daily. They have been catching fish on topwater in the mornings. He shows live feeds a lot of mornings if he gets on the fish.
