Ranger 520R Trailer Lights

anyone replace these? My F250 says that my blinker on my right side isn’t working (fault) and I looked under really quick tonight and didn’t see how to replace these. Anyone done it?

Not sure what model F250 you have, but there is a chance you blew a fuse. The fuse for the truck’s turn signals are not with the main fuse box. There is a small separate fuse box either under the glove box or under the hood passenger side. 10 amp mini fuse. I had to change mine and researched where the fuse was years ago. I hope I don’t waste your time looking, my memory sux. I had a F250 2015 King Ranch diesel. Good luck.

The more I think about the small fuse box location, the more I believe it is located in the passenger footwell.

the rear trailer lights are a sealed unit and lifetime warranty I believe some have said on here. call optronics or dixie? might be covered under the 3 yr warranty also

I think it’s the front wire on the trailer. Fuses in the truck are good. Took the light out and I don’t see any water penetration. I’ll let a pro take care of it. I think the relay went out on my jack plate too. It will go up, but not down. Pulled the wires and put it on the battery to lower it. The joys of boat ownership. Have to get this all done before the trip to St. Clair this weekend.

Had to replace one on my 2022. Light was defective and replaced under warranty.

I did a post on here late last year. Same issue. I emailed Optronics customer service and explained my issue. I got an email back with details on how to create a warranty claim. They have a limited lifetime warranty. They will require you to provide pictures, item number, and left / right side. I don't see it in the pages here. But I'll search and see if I can find it.

Agreed! Saves a ton of time and money going straight to the source. It was an easy process.

Wow thanks for this info. I really didn't want to leave my boat at the dealer for weeks to get a tail light replaced, and I really didn't want to have to pay for one either LOL.

Plug your trailer into another vehicle and see if it works. The issue may be your truck. I have a GMC 3500HD and had to reprogram my trailer lighting control module with an updated calibration for low impedance LED lamps. The module on the truck looks for a certain resistance through the bulb. These new trailers utilize LED’s which have very low resistance. The truck basically thinks the bulb is out and then disables it and gives you that message on the trucks instrument cluster. Just something to check before you go crazy chasing your tail. Now if the turn signal is actually inoperative then that is a different story.

Yea make sure your plug is ok. I had an issue with mine and it was right light. Good luck
