    Elites Sabine River.. Over/Under

2 in a row, staying in Texas but totally different. hard to think about 1 limit at Fork being almost a 4 day total at sabine but its always a fun one to watch for me, totally different fun fishing styles for sure!

Anyone know how its been fishing? have any recent storms/weather effected it all?

How many of the young' ns will be in the top 10? Im going with 1.. for sure think history and experience on this place will play a role more then most places.. If Jay Prezkurat is considered a young'n ill go with 2.. i dont put him in that group but i think he keeps the train rolling..

disregard my betting/gambling talk, for sure worded that title wrong.. how many of the youngns (elites 3 years or less) will be in the top 10?

This is one of my favorite stops for them. Always nice to see them not stopping at a "destination" slaunchfest. Its rare for any of the major circuits to hold events at tougher tests. Personally I just find these different slogs a lot more entertaining.

Could you imagine the crying on here if that happened. Another Ohio river tournament or something similar.

I like it too. It’s good to see them struggle and have minimal weight, makes it more relatable to most waters around the country.

Apparently it could be much tougher due to all the rain up stream so water levels could be high. Whoever finds the most remote location way up a creek is gonna win this thing. All the frogging

Toledo Bend SRA has both generators running 24 hours and 11 gates partially open. A lot of water feeding down to Orange, Texas from the Bend.

I saw Castledine talking about this today.. Said there was only 65 boats. Him and Ish surmising that it was due to FFS and that pretty much right now only a small handful of scopers were winning everything in Texas?

Going to be tough this week. Got hit hard last few weeks with rain and weather. TBend opened the spillway/gates and letting out tons of water. River is extremely higher than any time before when they have been here. Going to make for an interesting week for sure.

Yea, both rivers are high and muddy. I would think even the Houston stuff is blown out and for sure taylors area is. Someone can still find a little backwater area and it hold up for 4 days. I think this one will be the toughest one yet. The rivers take a beating these days on the texas side and they just cant grow fish like other places

I agree, it is going to be tougher than usual. I don't think it will be won with FFS, more like frogs, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics around flooded cover off main river channel.
