Just started watching, just his normal content so far. Will be interesting to see how he explains things (if, I guess), especially after so many things have come to light since his last "explanation video", esp his conversation with Zona, etc.

Well, it was an hour and 16 minutes of Classic coverage, and 30 seconds at the end on "the issue". Didn't even really refer to it, just mentioned "a change in plans".
Says he's not finished tournament fishing- what trail he's talking about he didn't say, I guess NPFL? Or maybe he's just talking about local stuff and creating content, etc...
As always, a showman at heart... At the end of the vid he was in the middle of saying something along the lines of "we'll be back in two weeks..." then it cuts to Scott sitting on the tailgate of his truck saying "that didn't age well...". lol.
from what ive seen on comments on his social media platforms seems a lot are still on board .. still 674k following on youtube, not sure if that went down or not.... seems this day and time though people love the "bad guy".. should see how loved that Luigi guy is who killed the ceo.. mind blowing
Maybe he'll start an all info welcomed tour
Im not going to call or say he's a cheater, but I just don't care to watch or follow him and don't have much respect for his ways of thinking of what's right and wrong.
Maybe SMC will go to work for GARMIN and be there brand ambassador to BASS, then he can provide guidance and direction on FFS along with everything else that BASS fails at per bbc keyboard warriors? or team him up with Slick J and Randy B for more useless nonsense.
I watched the video. Didnt interest me as much as it used to. I cant get over the fact about what he did. Regardless, its my opinion. But he should not have solicited information for any tournament, and he did not once but twice, that we know of.
Anyways, I did unsubscribe. He was fishing in an area and said.......John???? It was Easton not John, He said I didnt even know you were fishing in here. I just dont trust him anymore. It is what it is. Hes probably going to NPFL?? Is this correct??
Itll be interesting to see how this progresses forward.

After the Okeechobee DQ the writing was on the wall, hence the talk of leaving the Elites with family before the protest was filed at the Pasquotank event. Listen to the comments Zona said regarding the conversation he and Scott had. His 92 AOY in 2024 almost cost him his Elite invite for 2025 because his previous AOY numbers were mediocre thus bringing down his overall average. With a DQ at Okeechobee and a poor finish at the first event he would have had to have a great season to be above the line of anglers they look at to cut for 2026. Throw in a Pasquotank DQ and he would have had to had an Epic rest of the season to finish above the cut line.
Scott is a very smart business person. He may be playing with fire and doing shady things behind the tournament scene but I guarantee he has crunched the business numbers and knew the probable place he was going to finish AOY in 2025 had he continue with the season. You take 3 years of mediocre finishes and add 2 bombs and his AOY average puts him on the chopping block. Even Zona mention he and Scott talk about how close he came to being cut in 2025 because of the 92 AOY and how it pulled down his average. As I said Scott is smart when it comes to business and numbers. He jumped a sinking ship that he 100% created for himself through mediocre to poor AOY numbers and multiple DQ's. He will continue to thrive in the bass fishing scene. He has a massive, loyal fan base and as I said he is business savvy but his days of playing too close to the fire and mediocre finishes are the real underlying reasons why Scott is no longer an Elite angler.

That’s an understatement! Reading comments on various Facebook posts at the time of his two DQ’s, you’d swear that his fans could be directly confronted with a video showing his rule violation and they would still deny that he did it. His fans reminded me of flat Earthers or Moon landing deniers.
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments
I noticed on some of the YouTube comments there were some more critical comments of him. (Plus a bunch of negative ones)
came back an hour later and the critical/negative ones were all deleted.
That's called damage control...its similiar to stepping away from the Elites and refusing to take a polygraph administer buy who BASS provides but paying out of your pocket for someone else to administer one and you pass. That along with deleting comments on your own channel are public relations/damage control at work.
It’s just content…..
I’m not scared to call him a rule breaker….”cheater” might be harsh but he definitely broke or bent rules….(he admitted openly to calling the guy and that took place before the “accidental” info rule infraction at okeechobee….)
I’ve followed him for a really long time and I just can’t or won’t even bother to watch him anymore…. He lost my respect….
