    2005 tr 186

    I am looking for stairs that attach to the winch mast. My marine master trailer has a folding tongue which prevents mounting on the tongue. Any suggestion as to brand

    Boat EFX steps are awesome. I have them on my 2004 TR196 and my brother has them on his 2004 TR186. Both our boat trailers have the swing away tongues and these things fit perfect. I paired mine up with a Boat EFX Booma Step. Love it.

    I can't compare my Boat EFX to others because I have not had any of the others or know anyone who does. But I did do quite a bit of research prior to buying my Boat EFX steps and based on all the reviews and the style of the Boat EFX ones, I went with Boat EFX. I can't imagine how any of the other brands could be any better. But that's just an opinion. Big Blue Bassin may have had experience with other brands hence his statement. Hopefully he will chime in and answer the question of why he feels that the Boat EFX are better than the others.
