Lvs34 DEPTH ISSUE

This issue has just started. Tranducer was purchased Dec of 2022.
A little heads up on my normal practice. Before I move to another spot I alway go to settings and turn my transmit off before pulling the troller up. Once arrive at new spot I turn transmit on.
My issue is once I turn the transmit on the depth defaults to 62 ft. The only way I can get it to read correctly is to go to settings and play with the settings or turn te unit off and back.on. Any ideals?

As I stated I can play with the depth setting and get it to read correctly. Although I did restart the unit a couple times to correct it as well. My big question is why has it started this. No visible damage on the ducer(not even a scratch). Has me puzzeled.
