    Post Garmin LVS34 + 126sv LAGGING?

Hey People, I知 having a bit of frustration with my unit right now, hopefully someone can help.

i couldn稚 find a thread on this yet, if there is already one I知 sorry!

I知 running the LvS34 setup with a 126sv. I have a dedicated 50ah lithium for the setup. Large wiring and only about 4ft between the unit and battery.

I noticed on my screen the image would start lagging or glitching. Almost like it was buffering in a way, freeze framing like it was in slow-motion kinda. This would last anywhere from 5 seconds to 15 seconds or so. I did not even think to take a video of it

Has anyone noticed this before? Maybe have a fix for it? Or potentially know where another thread with that information is at?? I appreciate the help!!

I have the 34 but I am running a 8616. If the ghost tree reject and noise reject are turned up, it will be laggy. I don’t run the ghost tree reject and usually don’t run the noise reject and it does not have any lag

I have been running with the noise reject and ghost tree reject both on for the whole last year. I have the auto pitch angle off and manually set to 22ー because i got tired of that weird “float” thing it would do. But i never had this issue until later in the year. It kinda just showed up one day in October. It was kinda weird because i hadn’t changed anything since February really.

next time im out ill turn those off and see if that helps. Thanks!

As said running a high noise reject is the biggest culprit.
I would reset to defaults and start over with settings

Tried it with all kinds of different settings over the last few days. Doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Fished from 7-4 today and it did it first thing in the morning. Did another factory reset, came right back. Oddly enough, the later it was, and the warmer it got, it stopped? It wasn’t terribly cold this morning. About 40ー, but being powered by a lithium, i wonder is that is an issue? Seeing as how lithiums can have trouble in colder (40ー being the temp a lot of companies say) temps with some functions? Maybe after running and catching some sort of windchill that would cause it? I’m no scientific rocket, so I’m just spitballing.

I had this happen last year when cycling power stopped working I had a spare black box that I changed and it fixed my issue. I did have to take a video for Garmin with the original installed showing the lagging and then the new one without. They did replace my original box as it was still under warranty. I hope this helps!

Mine does that sometimes when I cut it on. I just cut it off and back on and it starts running smoothly again. Sometimes I have to do it twice. I have no idea about the settings, as I change them often.

Watch Crappie Monster’s YouTube video on settings. He runs his noise reject on high. I use his settings. Yes, you will initially have lag, but after the unit run for 15 minutes or so, the lag goes away.
