2024 Ranger 520 R Keypad problems

Any help Appreciated
My key fob will not connect to the touch key pad. I'm having to start the boat with the bypass key and also having problems with running lights turning an and live wells. Dealer is backed up 2-3 weeks. Any suggestions

First thing to do is replace the batteries in BOTH fobs, make sure the light is coming on on them. Apparently there is a master fob that the system won’t work without. I am still trying to figure out why they give you 2 of the system won’t work without the master lol. If that doesn’t work, a trip to dealer for update/repair is your only option. Keep the fobs close to the steering wheel, apparently inside the center console is too far away. I guess I am going to tie mine to a wire under the console. Lots of aggravation caused for people by this system.

As stated change the battery in the fob. I would suggest stocking up on extra batteries in your boat. I have changed my batteries at least 10 times. Killing the main breaker switch and restarting the system might help. If your boat is a 2021-23 I would suggest a computer update at a dealer that is experienced in Ranger Ride system.

Before taking it to the dealer I would call them and ask if they know the ins and outs of the ranger Ride system. Most dealer have not been educated on the ride system.

Also ... even if the green light is blinking when you press the Fob - I've still had to replace a battery that was seemingly fine.

What software version in the Ride system are you running?
