    Cheap lifep04 batteries

Has anyone had any luck using the cheaper lithium batteries for their electronics? I’m probably going to buy a newer boat next year and don’t want to spend $800 or $900 on a battery for a few months use.

There’s lithium, and there are lifepo4. Those are different batteries so be careful what you’re looking for.

Depends on what size you are looking for. This can give you some different factors to consider.

I currently am using this LiTime for my electronics,

Redodo Power is another great brand to check in that price range. I've got a few of them and ZERO trouble. I've yet to understand why folks would pay more unless you were truly in a situation where you couldn't charge for a few days and needed some sort of Bluetooth capability to monitor your usage. Shoot me a message if you'd like more info.

I recently put a 100 am on my wife's pond prowler. We can make 7 times more trips compared to wet cell we had before. Great product

Why not just buy quality name brand and just put in the new boat when you get it?

That’s what I’ve been doing. It’s easier to buy the better stuff now, save the dealer mark up on the stuff, then move it over to the new boat when it arrives. In one boat I had, the electronics were worth more than the boat they were on. Haha.
