    Net placement in z521c

    Hey all,
I have a 2019 z521c, and I'm tired of tripping over the net when it's placed in it's designated spot. Has anyone come up with some creative solutions for net placement so that it's quickly accessible, but out of the way?

    Thanks,
    Matt

I’m also running a 521c. I recommend Stowmaster folding net...superb quality and fits in the rod locker when folded. As far as storage when running. There really is no better way than using the slot or folding the net up and stowing in the locker. On short runs my partner keeps his foot on it, or we put the basket over the butt seat up front if it’s in. Stowmaster is not a cheap net, but very well made and will last forever.

For short runs I put a plastic carabiner hook on a small cord around the base of my front butt seat post. Snap the rim of the net in the carabiner and it lays great on the front deck while running down the lake and an easy undo when you get to the next spot. I have the retractable Academy net (love it!) but have NOT come up with a good place other than the hole below the step for normal storage.

Good stuff Mike…I’m going to incorporate that technique.

I slid my drivers seat a little forward and lay it behind the seat. With the
    handle facing the passenger seat.

What Mike A said but get you a couple 6" velcro strips. Screw them into the strip right behind the center storage bx. Wrap the handle with the Velcro. This will keep the handle from bouncing around. Someone else did the same and had a write up with pics but i couldnt find it

When I fish solo, I set it in the partner rod ramp and secure it with the rod buckle.
