There’s hardcore, then there’s just silly.
Been there, done that. Not to that extreme, but the deck did get covered with snow. It was late March and it melted quickly.
The best way to cheer yourself up is to cheer up someone else.
I went out for a few hours today. It was 38 degrees and cloudy but very little wind so it wasn’t too bad. I only caught two small fish but it was nice to get out in December. I have now fished out of my boat in every month of 2023 except January.

I am still fishing out of the boat in December here in Northern MN. Ice fishing small lakes and boat fishing still going on.
Been there, the whole boat covered in snow. I was walleye fishing in the river though.
Never had the boat covered in snow. But, I broke skim ice more than once on the way to a spot first thing in the morning of an early spring tournament.

Still fishing LSC when the wind allows. I've been targeting walleye and the bite has been good casting jigs on the flats next to shipping channel after dark, and up in the shallows along the mile roads.
I don't want people to say about me, "He died doing what he liked doing". I don't like choking on water as I drown. Never did. That much snow I stay home.
This used to be me, but not no more.!
My best smallmouth day ever was a day fishing in a heavy snowstorm years back.
We stayed at a motel that night due to the storm and the following day we had about 6 inches of snow on the deck and we did it again.
We were never able to duplicate that day again.
Been there and done that back in my younger days, but did sneak out yesterday for a few hours of 2 bass, 3 crappie and 5 pickerel not bad for Dec lol
