225 Pro XS slow to take off

2006 225 Pro XS Serial# 1B274163: Had the boat out yesterday and after letting it warm up to operating temp, I went to take off and the motor appeared to lug for a few seconds and then spun up and boat got on pad. Normally it jumps right up out of the hole. Same prop that I have been running for the last few hours of run time. I have the SC1000 gauges and no alarm went off. It did this every time I went to take off. When I loaded on the trailer it did the same thing when I gave it gas it sat there for a few seconds and then revved up. Any ideas what the issue could be?

prop pitch to large, not vented enough or both
what are the gps speeds at WOT trimmed for top speed and what RPM at that moment (digital tach)
Are you getting at least 3600 rpm during holeshot before the bow starts dropping.
How many hours on motor and has all required maintenance been done in the last year or 100 hours.

24P Fury on it currently and previously ran a 25P Fury both had no issues.
    Top GPS speed 74 @ 5900RPM
Breaks over around 3600 or so
Motor has 155 hours on it. Sparkplugs are do to be replaced.

I would complete ALL overdue maintenance as part of your very first step.

Also, a new belt and check the belt tensioner (should be capable of 70 lbs/in before reaching end of travel).

Thanks lpugh & don for the guidance on this, looks like I will take it to the shop to get checked out. Was hoping there was something I could do myself.

Wanted to provide an update on this after taking it to the shop. Had a injector that was clogged. The injectors were all removed and sent of for a cleaning. Appears that the issues has been resolved now.
