    Talon 10ft issue

I have a 3 stage newer 10 ft Talon and the second stage doesn’t always retract back into housing properly and seems to have too much play in it.
Are there guides that need to be replaced?
Cable was recently replaced by ASC and they didn’t mention any other issues at the time.

It is possible that a Jib(guide) may be loose, but as suggested I would try lubrication with pledge first. It does not work correctly after lubing then I would lean towards a loose Jib.

Will it have to be disassembled to check for these?

There is no jibs on either side at the bottom of the 3rd stage where the 2nd stage goes in

You can not see the jibs without removing the wiper off the second stage to see the jibs. They are internal to all the stages. There is also a set on the outer extrusion that are the guides for the second stage.
They are internal to the outer extrusion. I would recommend you lub the groves with p[ledge on the second stage and retace and extract the unit a couple of times and the put a little more lub and repeat.
If this does nor help then I would bring to an ASC and let them repair. These units have a 5 year warranty on the whole thing.

Unfortunately this one is out of warranty, so I am going to figure it out.
The second stage has a lot of play in it and if I guide it while its retracting it will go up enough to latch in there.
when it doesn’t the spike won’t deploy first.
I will update what I find..
Thanks for your help on here..
