    Ultrex lower unit repair question

I have an out of warranty 112# ultrex with water in the lower unit. I am getting a parts list together to fix it myself. I broke the threads off in one of the thru bolts when disassembling. Unless I can get the broke part out without messing up the threads, I'm going to need a new nosecone Can I replace the nosecone of my ultrex with a regular round fortrex nosecone? I do not use the US2 transducer in the nose of mine. The reason is a regular round nosepiece is $12 and an original with ducer is $100.

Yes. As long as it is a 112

I just did the same thing. Just make sure it’s the 4.5”.

    Turned out great
