    Active Target screen question, help.

DBF514C9-9767-4A01-A4CE-1EA368F6DBD1.jpegAs you can see in the picture my Active Target doesn't take up the bottom part of my screen on my Live 12 unit. What adjustment can I make to have it take up the whole bottom so I can see it better. I specifically upgraded from the 9 to the 12 to see it better.

Well can't load a picture. BBC has always been a pain loading pics.... anyway I think y'all know what I mean. In a split screen using the whole bottom across I want the whole field to be utilized by active target.

I think its do to depth being in auto. Choose the depth you are at and whole screen will be used. You will have to make adjustments as you change depths.

There is no adjustment on the AT screen you can only use splits and adjust the other 2 screens smaller.

When you split the screen the aspect ratio changes but the AT can’t adjust to the new ratio. If it did, it would be really elongated and distorted. Unfortunately that is what you have to live with if you use it in a split screen.

Glad they didn't do it that way with Structure Scan!
No one can be wrong that often so it has to be deliberate.

Just a thought on this, but with the ring around the A/T screen, have you tried to zoom in or out on it with the manual buttons? That may fix your issue. I have my A/T screen set up closely to how yours is, but I have my map and 2D on the right side stacked and have them pretty small. My A/T screen fills up the entire screen that way.

Can't change the width unless you equally change the vertical height of the window in order to keep the same aspect ratio.

I often use the screen you show. What I do is utilize that blank space to the left of the AT image to place all my overlay data (time, trolling motor voltage, starting battery voltage, digital depth, speed, etc.) so it isn't "wasted."

If I need a bigger image of AT I just hit a preset button to make it full screen. No blank spot on the full screen view and gives you what you wanted. Easy to toggle back and forth.

You can also go up to a 16 inch screen but the same space is there as well in order to keep the aspect ratio correct to avoid distortion.

Don't position at horizontally on the bottom.
Place it vertically and the right and split the screens on the lift.
It will work much better. I have a screen where my AT is on right and map on left.
Use the screen size changer to make the AT vertical screen a little larger.
Not perfect but better this way.
