Its there....
citizens/Americans: Use caution with this word. When we talk about parks and recreation serving communities, we are usually talking about how they serve all people whether or not they are a U.S. citizen. Referring to “residents” or “members” of a community is a more inclusive approach. Likewise, avoid using the term “Americans” generically for a group (because it limits the group to those who have citizenship status as Americans). (Sierra Club)Black, African American: The capitalized term Black is a recognition of how language evolves over time. The term reflects a shared identity and culture rather than a descriptor of skin color. African American (no hyphen) is a term used for people who share a lineage that can be traced directly or indirectly to Africa. African American is not necessarily interchangeable with Black. For example, people who live in America of Caribbean heritage may prefer Caribbean American. Always follow a person’s preference. Black can be used as an adjective in a racial, ethnic or cultural sense: Black people, Black culture, Black literature, Black studies, Black colleges. (Diversity Style Guide)Black should not be used as a singular noun. The term “white” should be lowercase.
I mean they are citing VOX and other places if that gives you any idea where its coming from.

I simply stated a statistic and made no attempt to ask each of them why they live outside the U.S. I'm sure the reasons are many, jobs, cost of living, spouse/partner, think they've found a better place, etc. Its easy to find something to get "enraged" about each day if that is what floats your boat. I'd rather try to figure out why I didn't have a bite last night while fishing.
Equity? Laffs.. Surrrrrrrrrrrrrre
Been going on for years this is nothing new just some more fake outrage.
A quote from the guide "“Use caution with this word,” NRPA’s guide says about calling people “Americans.”
“When we talk about parks and recreation serving communities, we are usually talking about how they serve all people whether or not they are a U.S. citizen,” the guide says, advising that people “avoid using the term ‘Americans’ generically for a group” and use “residents” or “members” of a community as a more “inclusive approach.”
Oh the outrage how dare the NPRA not call everyone American (even the ones who are not).
You guys crack me up sometimes.

Haha I have been living with inclusiveness for a long time some of the stuff is overboard IMO. But I am not the one to ask, you should ask the groups that have been persecuted for years. Until you walk in someone else's shoes its hard to understand how words can impact them.
I think the one about calling "old people" age challenged is okay? lol JK.
Hey, as long as we're all divided, we'll never be strong enough to stand up to this bullshit. So, for the sake of all those running your country, continue to bicker amongst yourselves.![]()
