Spec info Johnson 200hp
Hello everyone first post looking for info on my 1999 Johnson 200hp model#J200PLEEN. Looking for manufacturers WOT rpm, as well as the manufacturer’s prop recommendation? The motor is sitting on a Triton TR20 1999. Appreciate any correct info as I’m waiting for the service manual to come in I could only find it on eBay and it will be a couple weeks till delivered and current prop is a 13 1/2 x 22p

6700 rpm is the limiter but you want to hit 6K. The prop is going to depend on what Rpm you are running at WOT currently.

At 6700 RPM internals may start to become externals.
Operating range is 5000-6000 RPM Horsepower is rated at 5500 RPM. Prop it to 5850 RPM with minimum water pressure at 18 PSI at Wide Open Throttle (WOT) I ran a 2000 model year 200 on a 201 Champion with a 7.5" Rapid Jack manual plate at 5850 with a 24 P original Raker consistently at 66.7 GPS Tournament loaded two passengers w/32 gallons of fuel.
