Saving data overlay

Is there a way to save data overlay off HDS Live to a card. Going to do a hard reset, don't want to redo everything.

Yes, I dont remember exactly, but I think it was maybe under "save settings". But I know for sure you can, because I did it and it was easy. I dont have my boat here, or I'd go look

Yes, you can save your "settings" just like you save waypoints,routes, and trails. However, be advised, when you save your settings you may also be saving whatever conflict you hope to resolve by doing a hard reset. You can always try, and it has worked for me in the past sometimes, but it is better as Team Colibri always says to just do the hard reset and then go back and setup your overlays from scratch.

Take a photo of each of your screens if you want to remember what data you overlayed on each screen. Adding it all over again is a good way to learn how to add overlay data, and by doing it multiple times you will also see new features and choices you probably didn't learn the last time you did it. It takes longer to type how to do this than it takes to add overlay data once you learn how. Good luck!
