What's everyone's opinion on the best Texas rig rod? One that's sensitive, can fish shallow and deep, mainly 1/4 oz to 1/2 oz weights. Thanks in advance.

John the Garage Doorman
G Loomis NRX 893c/894c
But hard to categorize as “all around“...due to price. Certainly other great T-rig rods out there for less money.

NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST!!!!!!
How does the 893c and 894 c compare to the 873 c ccr?
The 873c is a bit softer than the 893, and much softer than the 894. I think it would also make a great T-rig rod. Just careful with how heavy of cover you are fishing. I actually use the 873 for long open water spinner bait rod...t-rig...weightless fluke/stick bait. 873c imho is a very versatile rod. You won’t find a lighter more sensitive Carolina rig rod.
i use the Kistler 7'6" KLX med heavy ....very light and sensitive
I use IMX 843 and 844.
NRX, it ain't even close.
6-10 MH Abu Veritas for me.
My personal choice is the Megabass Orochi XX or MB Levante Perfect Pitch
dobyns 735. Great for pitchin 3/16 t rigs or 1/2 oz big worms out deep in 25ft.
Anyone Remember Castaway Rods? I still use their Jig/Worm rod from 2003.
Red Sox in 6!
