I took my boat to Johnnys outboard today and they got me right in and out........amazing service !

The tech was super fast......replaced a carb gasket, tested VRO-OK, new water pump impellar, new foot oil, added steeing fluid.

Had it done in a couple hours or less. Price was VERY reasonable.

Now for the test to see if it will not get any air in carbs etc. .....If it does, he said they will order a new VRO and see if that will correct the air gap.

New bulb, plugs and fuel pump that I replaced seemed to really help starting and running, but it just would not run good after it sat for about 30 minutes..........I think it was because the carbs were getting air causing an air gap in fuel line, and you had to run it for a few minutes until all the air got out of the lines........which someday were a pain because it would die on me.

But boy........when you got the air gap out in this motor........you could stand by because it would scream.....slam you back into the seat so hard it caused most of my hair to fall out..........never have found it.

If replacing the gasket and making an air tight seal in the carbs fixes it I will now get into some serious fishing.........
