Ghost Arrow Off to the Left

    BBC Team,
My arrow has been off 10-20 degrees to the left since I got it. I have done at least 10 bow offset calibrations. When I replaced the white spacer, I noticed the magnet in the circuit board or head is off to the left. My theory is the cap is “sticking” (more friction) to the left of the TM casing and preventing it from being accurate. The arrow cap hugs the left side. If I move the cap to the right, the arrow lines up with the TM motor. The lowrance customer service team has been helpful, but I would prefer not taking my trolling motor off at the beginning of the fishing season for service. Anyone experience this problem and have a solution besides taking it into a service center? Ha.
    Best,
    Bradd

I have not seen that before. Hell, mine might be like that I don't even noctice it. Likely have to take in, or just take the whole boat in.

Nah, look online. Someone else had an easy fix for it. Don't know where I found it, maybe youtube.

Yup, Exactly what I believe the root of all the ‘teflon’ bearing problems are. It’s the fact that the indicator gear (which holds the lower magnet) is not positioned concentrically with the case and top cover. FYI the indicator gear is positioned by the circuit board beneath and if you look at that (don’t ask how I know this) it is out of position too. The result is the the magnet in the indicator “centers” over the magnet in the indicator drive gear which shifts it over slightly and causes a rub (sticky, draggy, etc..).FBCD5F87-96BD-496C-8E35-4988DD92CC49.jpeg66E7D460-C0F6-4CED-AD83-D10297F89F25.jpeg2837F7F1-679C-4712-9F07-4776BA0DEED4.jpeg

Me too waiting until after the spawn here in Texas to send it in.

Agree. A little frustrating, but I will get over it. I hope this helps others that are having problems with the arrow. In the meantime, my painters tape arrow will have to do. If anyone troubleshoots this situation, let me know.

I just fixed mine re glued the magnet in the right position. took me 15 minutes, most of that time was unscrewing the 50 screws that hold the head cover on. But mine was off more than the pics.
