    Jackson 1/3

Tough is the word here. Fished 1/1 and 1/3. Water is mud, temp is mid 40's, and seems to be falling a degree or more as each day passes. High pressure sits over us and a stiff NW wind has made the bite tough...I mean non-existent for me. I fished from 212 to Barnetts bridge. I mostly threw a blk/blue jig, but I also jerked fire tiger rogues, vert jigged spoons, black spinner baits, and bandit 100's & 200's. Since I couldn't come up with a pattern, I began fishing every kind of cover....humps, chunk rock, wood, wood on rock, tapering points, secondaries, etc. Not a sniff either day. Talk about humbling! Apparently there was a Tx the same day and 2 fish won it...but those 2 fish weighed 11+, with bf going near 9!!

Yeah its like that everywhere right now. Although jackson is one of my favorite winter time lakes and it's usually a good winter time crankbait lake. It will get better soon i'm sure

GAWes, do you have a Stratos or Bass Cat? At Berrys on the first it was me and those 2 rigs....(truck and trailers...never saw the boats on them)

It'l be a few more years until I get me a bass rig. I fish out of a 14' fiberglass jon I restored. It's silver with raspberry stripes (grand dad painted it and went a little crazy) and a black bottom. It's got a powerdrive MK troller and I fish it from the back. Stop by if you see me out...I usually fish from 212 to mouth of Tussahaw.

I always put in at berrys, and generally fish south...I was in the Tussehaw last weekend most of the time, and then went above 212 for a bit and found'em.
If you see a grayish-greenish stratos and some knuckle head w/ a facemask on wave!

10-4, those facemasks ain't no joke. I borrowed one back in December up on Dale Hollow, and it was sweet. Of course I get around in my boat at about 20mph, so I can deal with it here.
