Not sure where you are launching out of but Big Jim's has a house trailer he rents. I think it sleeps 10 or so and runs about 80 bucks a night. Big Jim's is about 2/3 of the way up Spring Creek.

Wingates is hosting a Fishers of Men that weekend already.
What state park are you talking of?? If you are talking about Semiole, it doesn't have availability for all nights needed. Some of the places I called where just as expensive as the hotels. Trails End, Jims, etc.. Thats why I went house hunting. There are actually 3 or 4 more houses still available in the Spring Creek area at reasonable rates that are very accomadating..

I'll be down for the FOM TX in March.. Staying at the Days Inn in Bainbridge.... But agree with the BBQ at Wingate.. Breakfast aint bad either....

oh and if the its below 32 degrees throw a ratltrap........not sure why it works but my club had a small tourney and it was 22 when we started and 45 at 4 that afternoon........I had 2 bites all day on a c-rig and caught both one was 13inchs one was 11 inchs........half the guys zeroed but two guys in the same boat brought in 21lbs (bf 5.8) and 23lbs (bf 7.5).......I suspected gill nets but they swore ratltraps.......still don't quite get that one
Actually looked at Trails end. Wasn't too bad either. Just a smidge farther out then where we ended up. I really like the house boats but the $200 a day was more than we wanted to spend.

Yeah,I rented the one you posted.Just right for us,and the guy I talked to was a real peach,very helpful.
Reports will be forthcoming a few days after return.
We also go to Lake Russell the week after Easter each year,a few more guys go on that trip.They are always fun.
