    Boat Repair in Aiken

I am moving to Aiken this Thursday. I need to get some work done on my boat, mainly i need someone to look at the motor. I am not bringing it down, unless I can find somewhere to keep it and get it worked on. Just wondering what everyone recommends.

    Thanks

    Paul

Re: Boat Repair in Aiken (paulheels)

I work in Aiken and live there all week and come back to Savannah to my house I can't sell in Savannah on the weekends. If you are willing to drive a little I know of a few pretty good places but it all depends on what type of motor. ??

Re: Boat Repair in Aiken (paulheels)

that shop is known as "HEIRS BOAT REPAIR" Dicky is the owner and has been a OMC man for years and is very reasonable. If you need another shop in Augusta---AUGUSTA MARINE--very well known and will do it right. Also I would see EUROPEAN MARINE (in above post) VERY GOOD SERVICE.

If you'd like to know they are 2- very big clubs in area Town Creek Christian Anglers and Millbrook Christian Anglers, most fish the bigger trails (BFL, CATT, BASS, AND SEVERAL OTHER DIVISIONS) They really do alot with the local youth and have been around along time. Serious fun and competition without the back stabbing.

Re: Boat Repair in Aiken (2500)

Thanks Jeff. I need to get my boat down this way! Thanks for the info on the clubs as well. I will look into it. This is my busy time for work, and my days off are Sun Mon, so that cuts into most club Tx. Thanks again. Let me know if you ever need a partner to fish.

Re: Boat Repair in Aiken (ChampioNman)

I have met Don and he is a great guy but have yet to meet the rest of these Aiken folks. We need to get out and fish sometime....if it will warm up just a hair.. I know Championman was up at the Russell get together, anyone else from Aiken make it up there earlier this month for the BBC/SC Lakes tournament/hotdog eating contest?

Yeah, cant wait to go fishing again. Kind of hard to go in a new place where you dont know anyone. Also, I got to get one of my two boats going!

Fred, we have met and Billy and I talked to you a while up at Russell. With your hotdog making celebrity status I am sure is hard to keep up with all these folks. Paul we can get out on the water sometime.

Re: Boat Repair in Aiken (Wind Talker)

Theres another boat place in North Augusta called Belvedere Marine. David the owner has done My dad and I right for years. For you guys that are new to Aiken, those two clubs that Jeff mentioned are some very good clubs. They are not your ultimate competetive clubs. Mostly laid back willing to help out with competition. My dad rruns the Town Creek club, so if anyone wants to fish with use, your more than welcome. The season starts Feb. 7 at Murray.

Theres the two links to the two clubs. Glenn I can see where you say that not many people here are nice. Trust me I think you will like the guys in these clubs.
