Not anytime soon - just wanted something I could fish some more peaceful waters in from time to time.

After I had my neck surgery last year, I'm starting to realize that it hurts a bit more when getting jostled around on big water.

I get the "red x" pic from time to time - sorry - can't figure this pic posting thing out.

    John -
I'd love to fish it if they'd ever put a ramp in there supposed to be doing that for a while now.

BTW - Congrats on the engagement!!!

i've got the pics on Kodak Gallery - anyone know why I get the red x at times??

Congrats on your rig Don! Youre doing it right my friend. Most of my fondest fishin memories are from fishing in calm water in a rig like that!

Nuttin wrong with that. The smalls lakes are not only more peaceful in the heart of summer, but IMO, more productive.

Is that carpet on the floor or the hard surface?

I fish out of my jonboat/duckboat a good bit. I'd prefer the hard stuff for duck hunting-lots of mud-but that stuff gets hotter than hades fishing in the summer, so I've stuck with carpet.

BTW, who needs a boat ramp?

You would probably be amused at the commando fishing I have done with a 4x4 and a jonboat in tow.

    Rawthumb -
Thanks - might have to try the commando thing but those police in Jefferson are pretty tough!!

The interior is a hard surface much like a spray-in truck liner but it's a lighter color than a bed liner - will give it a try and see how I like it. Great things is that all my Falcon Tackle organizers fit in the storage area perfectly like they did in my Triton
