That time of year Jocassee will be tuff! I'd go for the smallies with finese stuff, the river fish will be in the channels not far from the drops CB's will catch em but will be a sporadic bite. Gin clear beautiful lake. If you want to catch some nice trout while you're there stop in at the tackle shop at the entrance to the park and quizz them they'll help you out on the lake as far as trout lures to use.
